A lot of good thoughts here Luke. One thing that stands out to me is the tendency to rationalize disturbing online behavior and distancing it from real world events. Trolls are just kidding, the harassment doesn't really have consequences, the fomenting rage is just a fringe activity. Hopefully some of that is dispelled after the events of this week. It matters.
